» THE PARIS CLUB ART EXPERIENCE« EN 32. „PAAR“ Sweetware produces customised promotional giveaways from confectionery products. As a HARIBO partner, Sweetware primarily packages fruit gums and other products from the HARIBO range. Sweets, peppermints and snacks from other manufacturers as well as chocolate from Sweetware’sown production line complete the product range. Frank Lennig’s work almost always takes the human being as its starting point and conveys an extremely subtle message. In this exhibit, Lennig depicts the inexplicable nature of humanity, that which lies beneath the shell in the hidden inner life. He represents a wide variety of emotions by means of different colours, shapes and materials. This current two-figure piece evolved from a figurative series on the body-oriented and dynamic subject ‘couple’. The couple seems fragile, reduced, calm. Their bodies are modelled in three dimensions by the impasto application of fruit and liquorice snails. The touching figures convey the impression of a strong bond.
